There’s a very cool thing happening in the worship loop and multitrack world. LoopCommunity.com founder and worship leader Matt McCoy has developed a device that lets you easily trigger loops and multitracks during your praise set.
The cool part is that he’s using KickStarter.com to fund the project. Many creative people have used KickStarter to fund projects – movies, apps, restaurants, opera, you name it (the new Pebble smart watch is the most successful KickStarter project of all time, raising more than $10 million from 85,000 backers.)
Matt needs to raise $50,000 in the next month to create the USB MIDI Foot Pedal – a small black box he calls “Looptimus.” It’s been designed, tested and is ready to produce – he just needs the funding. Watch his demo video above and decide if you’d like to pledge any amount – I just contributed. You’ll also get free loops and loop consultation for you church as his special “thank you” if you pledge $25 or more.
